Prof Madya Dr. Zamri b. Radzi

Dr Zamri obtained his specialist qualifications from The Royal College of Surgeons England, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ireland and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Oxford. As a clinician, he was responsible in the establishment of the University of Malaya Combined Cleft Palate Clinic; a one-stop clinic dedicated for cleft lip and palate patients involving experts from more than 12 various areas of specialization.

As a researcher, he has won several gold medals at International Research Expositions in Geneva, Brussels and Pittsburgh; holds several patents at WIPO, Brazil, India, Malaysia and US Patent Office and awarded with more than RM 7 million research grants. In 2005, he was awarded the ‘Most Excellent Scientist Award’ by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
